News Flash: Crap Ton of Snow in Colorado!

View of A Basin from Loveland Pass
Loveland Pass ski tracks and avalanche.

The 06' 07' season is underway. Fortunately for the posse, gas prices are low. We have been making our annual early season trips over to Summit County to get the goods. A Basin and Loveland are both open, and the early season conditions are great.

There is a crap ton of snow already on the ground. A lot of people were skiing loveland pass after the last storm. You can see a pretty big slide left of the tracks. Me and Tim passed about fifty people at the bottom of the road. We only counted on person with a backpack. "Welcome to Colorado. Now your dead!"

Still a lot of leg breaking, season eating, snow alligators (part of the snow snake family, only uber vicious) out there. Thats why we go to Chile. So we don't loose all rational thought when the state starts to turn white. Opening day at Vail looks to be sweet. There are reports of waist deep.

More reports to follow.
